Preschool/Kindergarten Enrollment

Kindergarten enrollment will begin March 27, 2024 and be ongoing throughout the spring. In order to be eligible for kindergarten, students must be five years old on or before September 30th. Families who would like to have their students participate in kindergarten screening must complete registration by May 7th, 2024. Upon completion of online registration, you will be contacted to schedule kindergarten screening.

In order to complete registration, you will be required to upload:

• Birth certificate- Original or certified copy of birth certificate or other legal document which includes the student's name and date of birth. Examples of other acceptable documents include passport, court documents, or adoption papers. A child must be 5 years of age on or before September 30 to attend Kindergarten.

• Proof of residency-- Acceptable proof of residency documents include:

  • Recent property tax bill
  • Current signed lease
  • Property deed or purchase & sales agreement
  • Recent rent receipt including home address
  • Recent utility bill (gas, oil, water, etc.) including home address
  • Town affidavit
  • Notarized residency affidavit

• Immunization records and a current physical exam- Before starting school, all students must have this information on file.

New to Hopkinton?

Families new to Hopkinton can complete the online registration upon moving into the district. In addition to the new student documents listed above, information from your student(s) current school including contact name and number will be needed. if you need in-person assistance with registration, please contact the main office.
